CDC has offered a safe, professional asbestos removal service since 1983. As a result of the ongoing discovery of this hazardous material, we are able to offer a complete asbestos management service, including:
SURVEYS
For non-domestic properties, CDC can provide any level of asbestos survey needed, fulfilling the mandatory element of asbestos management plans. This includes the demolition and refurbishment survey now required prior to the demolition of any building or structure.
REPAIR/ENCAPSULATION
Not all asbestos-containing materials should be removed when encountered. When they are in good condition and unlikely to be disturbed, CDC offers a number of cost-effective and efficient encapsulation solutions. These provide adequate protection whilst ensuring owners meet their legal responsibilities.
REMOVAL
Where removal is recommended, we undertake the work in line with the Health and Safety Executive (where applicable) and in liaison with the client’s representative. All CDC operatives employed within the asbestos abatement division are trained to the highest possible industry standards.
DISPOSAL
The subsequent waste material is disposed in accordance with the Hazardous Waste Regulations 2005 – to approved and licensed facilities. We operate our own vehicle with sealed containers for this activity.
CDC will also organise the necessary documentation, including the allocation of the premise code for each site. Furthermore, we will provide a full hazardous waste audit trail.
