Aggregate Delivery 

We are seeking a reliable and professional HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team in Ipswich. This is a multi-use role where you will primarily be responsible for the safe delivery and collection of aggregates across Suffolk and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Ensure deliveries are made on time to construction and landscaping sites
• Operate an HGV 2 vehicle to deliver and collect aggregates like cement
• Maintain delivery records and report any issues or delays.
• Reporting any defects or issues to the transport manager
• Interact courteously with customers.
• Maintain a well-organised, clean, and tidy vehicle.

Requirements:

• Class 1 or 2 driver from the construction or plant industries will be considered.
• Hold a valid Class 1 or Class 2 HGV license.
• In date CPC.
• CSCS card would be preferred but not essential.
• Flexibility to work longer hours when required.
• You must have previous commercial driving experience and good local geographical knowledge.
• Able to complete paperwork with 100% accuracy.
• Must have 12 months UK commercial driving experience.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English.
