Tru7 Group is proud to announce a significant leadership transition that marks a new chapter in our family-run business. Jake Nicholls has been appointed Group CEO, while Guy Nicholls steps into the role of Group Chairman, reinforcing our commitment to continuity, innovation, and long-term growth.
Jake Nicholls, formerly Group Managing Director, now takes the helm as Group CEO. With a background that blends elite motocross competition and entrepreneurial drive, Jake has already made a substantial impact on Tru7. Over the past few years Jake has been instrumental in the development and expansion of the group’s contracting divisions, as well as a key driving force behind Tru7’s apprenticeship scheme.
Jake’s leadership style reflects the values instilled by his father and grandfather – a passion for excellence, a deep respect for tradition, and a relentless focus on progress. His appointment signals a bold step forward for Tru7, as we continue to expand our services across construction, demolition, aggregates, and plant hire.

Guy Nicholls: From CEO to Chairman
Guy Nicholls, who rebranded and revitalized the family business into the Tru7 Group we know today, transitions from CEO to Group Chairman. Under Guy’s leadership, Tru7 has grown into a multi-million-pound enterprise employing over 300 people and serving clients nationwide. His strategic vision and entrepreneurial spirit have been instrumental in shaping our diverse portfolio, which includes recycled aggregates, concrete, vehicle hire, and more. As Chairman, Guy will continue to guide the company’s long-term strategy, mentor the leadership team, and uphold the values that have defined Tru7 for over 60 years.
