class 2 mixer Drivers - Sizewell c

JOB DESCRIPTION

• TruMix is looking for Class 2 Mixer Drivers to join our growing team working on the Sizewell C project in Suffolk.

  This is an excellent opportunity for experienced HGV drivers to secure regular, ongoing work on one of the UK's largest infrastructure projects.

  We have both day and night shift opportunities available, offering flexibility for drivers looking for a shift pattern that suits them.

  A Sizewell C Blue Pass is ideal but not essential. We can consider drivers who do not currently hold a pass and can support the right candidates through the required process.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a Class 2 concrete mixer vehicle.
  • Deliver concrete safely and efficiently in and around the Sizewell C project.
  • Carry out daily vehicle walk-round checks and report any defects.
  • Follow all site, Company Health & Safety and environmental procedures.
  • Comply fully with Drivers' Hours, Working Time and Tachograph regulations.
  • Maintain the vehicle in a clean, safe and roadworthy condition.
  • Maintain a professional approach when dealing with site teams.

  Essential Requirements

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
  • Valid Driver CPC.
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Good understanding of HGV safety and compliance requirements.
  • Reliable, professional and safety-conscious approach to work.
  • Ability to work either day or night shifts.

  Desirable

  • Sizewell C Blue Pass – ideal but not essential.
  • Previous concrete mixer experience.
  • Experience working on major construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of concrete and concrete delivery operations.

   

Mixer experience is desirable but not essential, with training available for suitable Class 2 drivers.
