ALEC BIRD
Alec joined the Tru7 Group as Chief Financial Officer in 2021. Formerly a client facing corporate banker with HSBC for 4 years, and prior to that with Barclays for 10 years, his scope of responsibility at Tru7 covers finance, HR, IT, governance, and risk management.
Alec holds a MA from Cambridge University in Land Economy, is a qualified corporate treasurer, and has a MSc from the London Institute of Banking and Finance.
He is passionate about developing the Tru7 business and the people within it. Alec is married with two young children and enjoys spending time with his family outside of work.

TRU7 is fiercely loyal to its East Anglian roots. The team has raised significant funds for local organisations including St Elizabeth Hospice, the Motor Neurone Disease Association, East Coast Hospice and GeeWizz. TRU7 is also the proud sponsor of the Ipswich Witches and Sheffield Tigers Speedway Teams.
