Diamond drilling

A form of core drilling which uses a rotary drill with a diamond drill bit attached to create precisely measured holes.

A diamond drill is a precision instrument, creating clean, accurate holes with diameters of between 8mm to more than 1000mm. Our drill rigs can operate using 110v electric motors, hydraulic motors, or 415v allowing us to work in almost any environment.

Whether drilling vertically down, horizontally or inverted, our versatility ensures that we can tackle various projects effectively. We employ stitch drilling techniques to form large openings. This method involves drilling a series of adjacent overlapping holes, particularly useful when wall and floor thickness prevent the use of sawing equipment, as it is a non-percussive technique, structural integrity is maintained. Every diamond drill runs water through the driving shaft to ensure the work space remains free of dust.

Track Sawing

Diamond track saws produce accurate and smooth cuts in concrete surfaces. Conventional sawing methods can’t match the accuracy and precision that a diamond track saw can offer. Unlike other cutting methods such as stitch drilling openings, track saws feature a circular blade mounted on a track-based machine.  With our specialised equipment reaching depths of up to 750mm.

Floor Sawing

Concrete floor sawing utilises powerful cutting machines fitted with diamond-tipped blades to make accurate cuts in concrete flooring materials. The saws can be self-propelled and either diesel powered (euro 6) or 415v . Operators precisely cut lines marked out on floors. Water cools and clears the blade for clean, neat cuts. Electric floor sawing allows for precise segmentation of floors for tasks like installing new drainage, underfloor heating or expansion joints in large slabs. It produces minimum noise, vibration and dust compared to other cutting methods. Our floor saws, which feature blade diameters ranging from 300mm to 1500mm, allow us to cut reinforced concrete and asphalt roads and floor slabs up to a maximum depth of 650mm.

WiRe SAWING

A wire saw is a hydraulic or electric powered saw that uses a diamond encrusted flexible steel wire or cable to cut various structures. The beaded diamond wire is threaded through a series of pulleys attached to a drive wheel. A constant pulling force is applied to the circulating diamond encrusted wire, causing the wire to cut through the substrate. Traditionally used for many years in the quarrying trade, however the technique has been perfected for use in the Concrete cutting industry to cut large of difficult sections of reinforced concrete. The diamond wire sawing system can be used to cut vertically, horizontally or at any angle required. The wire length can be suited to allow cutting at virtually any depth. This versatility makes diamond wire sawing ideal for removing large concrete, masonry or metal structures.
