Tru Rent’s Toyota Hilux Invincible X Takes on the New Toyota Land Cruiser in CarWow’s Latest Shootout
Tru7 Group is proud to share that one of Tru Rent’s Toyota Hilux Invincible X pickups has been featured in CarWow’s latest YouTube showdown, putting the legendary Hilux head‑to‑head against the all‑new Toyota Land Cruiser.
The invitation came directly from Rory White, Producer at CarWow, who reached out to involve Tru7 Group in this exciting off‑road comparison. Naturally, we jumped at the opportunity.
A Day at the Quarry: Hilux vs. Land Cruiser
Our team drove the Hilux Invincible X to a rugged quarry just outside Stamford, where the CarWow crew had set the stage for a full‑scale off‑road battle. The terrain was unforgiving, the challenges were varied, and both vehicles were pushed to their limits.
Across the day, the Hilux and Land Cruiser faced off in a series of demanding tests, including:
- Steep hill climbs
- Technical rock sections
- Timed off‑road trials
- Traction and articulation challenges
- Straight‑line drag races on loose surfaces
The Hilux Invincible X: known for its durability, reliability, and no‑nonsense capability - held its own brilliantly against Toyota’s newest heavyweight. With its robust chassis, impressive torque delivery, and proven off‑road pedigree, the Hilux demonstrated exactly why it remains a favourite among operators who need a pickup that works as hard as they do.
